For Orders Shipping To Illinois, we will add the prevailing local sales tax. For Orders shipping to Canada, we will charge 5% GST.

If Your Shipping Address is Different from your credit card billing address, please include your shipping address in the "Description of Product" section. Otherwise we will ship your item (s) to the address included on the form.

Shipping Charges on In-Print and Out-of-Print Books (Under $100) are $8.00 for the first book, $1.00 each for each additional book. We prefer to ship to a street address, via UPS. Post Office orders for inprint books will ship via Media Mail. If you need Express Shipping please call the shop at 312/944-3085. For Foreign Orders, please note that there will be two charges to your card. One for your items and one for your actual shipping charge. All orders go via the most economical service (usually First Class International) and we do not insure your parcel unless you ask for insurance. Customs charges are the buyers responsibility.

Manuscripts, Rare Books and Other Ephemera (Over $100) These items will ship via UPS, UNINSURED, unless you specify differently. These items will ship NO SIGNATURE REQUIRED unless you specify differently. Generally, insurance is $1 for each $100 of coverage. Signature Required costs $3.25. If you prefer an Adult Signature, the cost is $4.25. If you choose to insure your item, your parcel will be insured through UPS and you are responsible for filing the claim should loss occur. If you have prior invoicing arrangements you will be billed for insurance and Signature Required. If a loss occurs on anything that has been invoiced Abraham Lincoln Book Shop will be responsible for filing the claim with UPS. Abraham Lincoln Book Shop, Inc. cannot be responsible for items once they leave our facility.
